Since 1850, the AAS has been championing agricultural education and enriching community life in Ancaster and the greater Hamilton area.

We’re a volunteer-run organization with a proud history of hosting the annual Ancaster Fair – but it doesn’t stop there!

Our world class facilities offer the perfect setting for agricultural events and more with easy access to parking and a location close to the city.

The Ancaster Fair

Join us every year on the third weekend after Labour Day.

Exhibit in our Homecraft classes including Canning, Baking, Crafts, and so much more.

Sheep, goat, dairy & beef cattle, poultry, rabbit, and numerous horse shows to compete in!

Rides, competitions, animals, a demolition derby – every year thousands of exhibitors, vendors, and fair goers join us at the Ancaster fairgrounds for a weekend of fun.
